Sheep Creek Cabin
Semi-furnished Mountain Cabin
No running water or indoor plumbing
There is a fresh water spring head box located in front of the cabin. Water can be used for coffee/tea, dishes and cleaning. I do not recommend using it for straight cold drinking water. Bring bottled water.
Electricity with provided generator – we provide 5 gallons gas, 3 bedrooms on lower level 1 queen, 2 doubles + open floor plan upstairs with 2 double, 3 single beds, bring your own bedding, beds are prepared with sheets and a top quilt only, large storage room, Monarch wood cook stove with oven, 2 wood stoves, large wood pile, kitchen furnished with cast iron cookware, microwave, 12 cup coffee pot, electric tea pot, utensils and dinnerware (most folks bring paper dinnerware for less clean up). It is recommended to bring a propane grill for quicker meals. The Monarch wood stove takes time to prepare quick meals. There are storage tubs with extra linens, bath and hand towels for kitchen and body use. There is one propane lantern and some LED lighting available for use when the generator is not running. All rooms have ceiling lights and outlets are present in kitchen, sitting room and some bedrooms.

Attention Cyclists camping options:
Tent camping available, no reservation required, walk-ins welcome
Cyclists are welcome to pitch a tent for the night while passing through in the meadow behind the ranch houses, look for the TENT signs
Hansen Livestock ranch headquarters located at 4100 Medicine Lodge Rd, approximately 4 miles from Highway 324
Pull into the ranch where you see the white HANSEN LIVESTOCK SIGN
Tent camping NO CHARGE
You are welcome to use the RESTROOM/SHOWER facility attached to the East side of the Bunkhouse. Look for RESTROOM/SHOWER signs
$10 per person for shower use
Pay at the CABIN CHECK IN AND INFORMATION STATION located at the end of the ranch lane. Follow instructions inside the facility
Shower facility is maintained on a regular basis, towels, double utility sink, bar soap, dish soap, shampoo/ conditioner are all provided
OTHER CAMPING SITES:
Approximately 17 miles from highway 324 traveling south, there is an open area on your left-hand side after crossing Medicine Lodge Creek for the second time. This area is located alongside the creek bed and close to the road.
RV and Camper plug in sites:
*We have two sites available for electrical plug in, one site, with water access. These are located at the Hansen Livestock ranch headquarters
$15 per night, this also includes access to the RESTROOM/SHOWER facility
*We have one site available with limited seasonal use located at 10001 Medicine Lodge Rd. (Johnson location)
This site has electrical plug in; it includes the use of the RESTROOM/SHOWER facility located at the ranch headquarters $15 per night
The RESTROOM/SHOWER facility is open to the public. If you are not staying in a cabin or renting a camping site, it is $10 per person for shower use.
This fee allows us to maintain the facilities regularly and keep it clean
Please clean up after yourselves, place dirty laundry in hamper so those coming in after you experience a clean facility as well.
